Kids, parents, and cookies—what a terrific combination! Designed for children ages 6 and up, this fun hands-on class features six delicious kinds of cookies. Kids can paint colorful designs on Rolled Sugar Thins, while kids and parents mix, shape, and bake Peanut Butter Balls. We’ll also shape Chocolate Mint and Peppernuts, dip Sugar Drops in assorted sprinkles, and create colorful Spritz cookies. Bring containers to take home your cookie creations to enjoy right away or freeze for later!

Instructor Laurel Severson graduated from the U of M in Home Economics and Education.She worked in businesses focusing on food; currently teaching many years in Community Education.She lived in London, the Philippines and travels extensively.Laurel is an avid cookbook collector who delights in sharing recipes and cooking tips.
