A child who enrolls in 1st Beginners should meet the following requirements: Is usually between 5 and 6 years old – taken lessons previously No anxiety when getting in the water and submerges their whole body including their head for more than 10 seconds. Able to kick and paddle on front for 10 feet by themselves Able to kick and fin on back for 10 feet by themselves Able to float on front and back on their own for at least 5 seconds

A child who enrolls in 2nd Beginners should meet the following requirements: Is usually between 6 and 7 years old (could be older if they are severely afraid of deep water) Able to confidently perform the front crawl for 15 feet. This means their arms are coming out of the water and their legs are constantly kicking. Rotary breathing is not necessary but they should be able to take a breath or two as they go. Able to confidently perform the back crawl for 15 feet. This means their hand is coming out of the water by their side and going in with a straight arm behind their head. Able to float on front and back for at least 5 seconds

The 3rd Lair camp program has been a part of MN action sports development for over 26 years. 3rd Lair is the original, offering the most experience, the most well trained instructors, and a proven reputation for success. Instruction is based on ability level and instructors cater to individual needs. All ages 6+ and skill levels are welcome.

This 4-hour course is taught by a certified instructor and will cover updates in laws, the latest vehicle technology, and address traffic safety and accident prevention measures. The class is a presentation and there is no test or behind the wheel exam. The previous 8-hour requirement to earn the discount has been changed by the state. A 4-hour course is all that is required to earn the discount now! Courses should be completed every 3 years to maintain the discount.

An adult who enrolls in Adult Swim should meet the following requirements: LESSONS 16+ years old Has little to no experience in the water with some discomfort Is willing to work with an instructor to your individual goals and motivations for taking swimming lessons and work toward those goals

Early Childhood Screening The early childhood years from birth to the start of kindergarten are important times of rapid learning and growth. Early Childhood Screening is a free and simple check of how your child is growing and developing offered through the Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools. Early Childhood Screening is a free developmental check-up required by the State of Minnesota for all preschool-aged children. Children between the ages of 3 and 4 years old, who live in district 719 need to participate in a screening before entering kindergarten. Between the ages of 3 and 4, screening can detect possible health or learning concerns so that children can get help before they start school. Parents may accompany their child through the approximately one-hour-long process.
