Middle School Archery (Gr. 6-8)After School Middle SchoolJoin instructors from the Outdoor Recreation School to learn how to safely shoot a compound bow. Students will build their skills through interactive archery games and challenges. Safety, history, and proper shooting techniques will be covered in this series. All equipment is provided. Unless weather is severe, this is a rain or shine, outside program. Dress for the weather. Parents are responsible for pick up at 4 pm at the range at Cleary Lake Park. WaitlistMiddle School Golf (Gr. 6-8)After School Middle SchoolDon’t miss your tee time, join Middle School Golf! Golf is for you whether you are a beginner or you have a lot of experience. Package, includes group lessons from a golf instructor, time on the driving range and putting green, and one tee time per week for those of you that the Cleary Lake Staff feel could complete a round. One-way transportation provided to Cleary Lake Park for the 2:30 pm session only. Parents are responsible for pick up from the golf course (18106 Texas Avenue, Prior Lake). Middle School Theatre Workshop (Gr. 6-8) - NEW!After School Middle SchoolThe widely-popular middle school winter musical has sparked the creation of a short-term “workshop” experience for those interested in future participation in theatre programs. Participants will be introduced to various areas of theatre: auditioning, script reading, acting, stage blocking, costumes, make-up, props, sets, lights, sound, programs and more. Students from the Frozen Jr production will visit to share their experiences and tips. A short skit will be performed at the last session, on Thursday April 30th.
