Cupcake Mania (Ages 5-10)Summer - CookingGet ready for a sweet adventure in Cupcake Mania! In this hands-on camp, kids will make their own buttercream frosting and decorate their very own cupcakes while learning basic baking skills in a safe and playful environment. Young bakers will explore flavors, colors, and creative designs using frosting, sprinkles, and fun toppings. Each day in class will bring a new theme. Along the way, they’ll practice following simple instructions, measuring ingredients, and working as a team. Kitchen Bootcamp 101 (Ages 11-17)Summer - CookingDo you want to learn to cook beyond the boxed or frozen ready meals, hot dogs or pizza? Do you love cookies, pie or sweets? This in-depth camp will introduce and provide hands-on experience in the basic skills of food and kitchen tool safety, food handling, chopping, sautéing and creating healthy meals for yourself and your families. Each morning, safety and nutrition topics will be introduced, skills will be practiced and a complete healthy meal made, which you will enjoy for lunch. The afternoon features all baked items and other homemade sweet creations that we love. On the final day you will bring home dinner and dessert for your family. Please pack a lunch for the final day as lunch will not be provided. If you took this class last year, the recipes have changed for this summer.CE Youth Summer 2026 -
Kitchen Bootcamp 201 (Ages 12-18)Summer - CookingHave you taken one of my cooking camps (or cooking 101) in the past, found it easy, and really enjoyed it? Then you may be ready for the next level. In this camp, I will introduce tools and techniques such as mandolins, instant pots, canning, grilling and multi-step recipes. We will review kitchen safety and healthy eating. We will be working in groups quickly with the multiple hot items; safety, awareness and being able to work in the kitchen comfortably is an expectation for this class.
