Come discover the art of Kinusaiga—often described as “painting with fabric”! This Japanese-inspired craft transforms fabric scraps into beautiful, no-sew collages, blending the look of quilting with the beauty of stained glass. Choose from several patterns and learn the process from start to finish, including cutting your design into the board and mastering fabric-tucking techniques. You may not finish during class, but you’ll have everything you need to complete your project at home. Class fee includes tools and fabric to take home and finish at your leisure.

Instructor Susan Weislow is a psychiatric Occupational Therapist with over 20 years experience. She enjoys teaching groups of all ages different art forms that have both a leisure component and a therapeutic element. Mandala rock painting offers you an opportunity for self-expression and may serve as a tool in your own creative journey.
