Ever wondered what the universe tastes like? In this high-energy, hands-on workshop, young scientists become "Atomic Architects" to build the very building blocks of matter—and then eat them! Before we can understand the world around us, we have to look at the tiny particles that make it all up. This class blends physics, chemistry, and culinary creativity to turn abstract concepts into delicious, 3D masterpieces.

Charlene Bzdok is a licensed educator with over 25 years of experience teaching science in a classroom setting. During her career, she’s taught a diverse selection of topics—including biology, math, chemistry, entomology, bird ecology, life science, physics, and more. In addition to her work in classrooms across Minnesota—working with students from different cultures and backgrounds—she’s also taught abroad in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Today, she organizes a range of community education courses to help students across over 35 school districts discover the basic principles of science, technology, physics, and of course baking and cake pop decoration.
